Q1 2024 UK iOS Performance: Top Business Finance & Solutions Apps

In the first quarter of 2024, the UK's iOS platform saw varied performances among the top Business Finance & Solutions applications. Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive look at how these apps fared in terms of downloads and weekly active users.

Santander Pilot experienced an initial surge in downloads at the beginning of the quarter, peaking at around 34K in the second week, before seeing a decline to a low of 81 downloads by the end of March. The app did not generate revenue during this period.

SumUp: Payments and POS showed a steady increase in downloads throughout the quarter, culminating in over 6K downloads in the final week. Weekly active users also grew, starting at approximately 118K and reaching nearly 139K users by mid-March, although there was a slight dip to around 137K active users by the quarter's end.

Square Point of Sale (POS) revealed an erratic download pattern, with a notable peak of over 9K downloads in the second week of March. Weekly active users fluctuated, starting at around 11K, then experiencing a peak of nearly 15K users, and finally settling at about 12K by the end of the quarter.

Tide Business Banking App showed consistent growth in downloads, starting at around 2.5K and reaching over 4K downloads weekly, before a slight drop to 2.5K in the final week. Active users saw a gradual increase from around 41K to over 45K in mid-February, followed by a decrease to approximately 40K by the end of March.

Lastly, SumUp Pay experienced a mixed trend in downloads, with an initial figure of around 1.8K, a mid-quarter high of 3.9K, and a closing at about 2.1K. Weekly active users saw an overall increase from roughly 17K to just over 21K in the third week of March, before a slight decline to around 20K active users.
